Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between stitch braids and a feed-in ponytail?

Stitch braids are cornrows braided flat to the scalp in a set number of parts. A feed-in ponytail uses the same technique but gathers the braids into a single ponytail.

How many stitch braids should I get?

That's a matter of the look you want. Fewer, larger parts (2 to 6) give a bold statement look. Eight or more gives a finer, more detailed finish. Ask your braider in shop to see current examples of each.
